I can honestly say I've hardly been in the garden this week! A combination of terrible weather, a full day at RDA on Wednesday and a longer than usual working week has put paid to any gardening. I'm in despair over my lawn; it is so long now and yet still far too wet too cut! Yesterday was dry but it rained over night. I'm hoping if it's dry today I can cut it this evening.
For some reason my hydrangea is doing really well this year. Maybe it's because I took out the overgrown cotoneaster and the dead fir tree that was its immediate neighbours! Anyway, it's a mass of pink blooms which cheer me up despite the rain.
Happy Green Thumb Sunday everyone!

Just beautiful! I didn't know hydrangeas bloomed so late!
Sorry the rain has been keeping you from the garden, hopefully it will spur on massive growth!
What a lovely photo Julie, I am glad this makes you smile! The weather really has been terrible...but...I am still having to water my tubs, for some reason even with all the rain they are still dry!!
Have a lovely Sunday :o) {{HUGS}}
My hydrangeas are especially bright and full this year too. My hubby cut them almost to the ground last yeat and I was afraid they wouldn't come back well this year, but I guess the severe cutting helped.
Lovely Hydrangea Julie; one plant that's happy to have plenty of water. We've actually had a non-rain weekend here!....Yippee.

lovely! I had a hydrangea that bloomed all summer, I think it started life as one of those gift plants, but it grew and grew (in Ohio) . Send some rain our way!
What a beautiful hydrangea. mine are just starting to flower but yours is very impressive.

Hydrangea is another plant we are unable to grow in Arizona, an unfortunate fact since I love them. Your photo is beautiful.
Great picture. We love the color of your Hydrangea.
