Green Thumb Sunday 21st October

I haven't done a GTS post for a while now as things at home have been pretty hectic. i have been busy in the garden planting agapanthus and alliums and various other things. I've still got tulip bulbs to plant and will do them early next month. I still have nasturtiams in flower and I like the way dew collects on the leaves.

One of my geraniums is also still flowering; what a beautiful pink it is. This is the planted silver bucket from IKEA which has been one of my favourite displays of this year and is still looking good now!

I was really pleased to see that my honeysuckle which i thought had died is showing new growth again! I'm glad I didn't pull it up and throw it on the compost heap!

This final photo is of my yellow nasturtiams in my fence-mounted box, again from IKEA. The colour is so vivid in the sunshine.
Happy gardening everyone!

Your geranium color is also very nice! We are on the same wave length, if not latitude!

Love that first picture - and your geraniums look great, even with the weather getting colder ....

I don't have nasturtiums but lots of GTS readers have posted about them in the last few weeks so I will have to get some. The yellow ones are very bright and cheery. Sara from farmingfriends

Just a little note of appreciation - pardon the intrusion from a stranger, I am just a random kindred compulsive gardner in New Orleans, Louisiana, US - I love your nasturtiums. Fantastic photography, of course. I am quite jealous, as I have been trying to grow nasturtiums for all my gardening life (albeit a short one) and have yet to experience success. Mine all died when we dropped below freezing in a most spectacular way (they turned to mush). You must have nasturtium secrets. Or just a very green thumb. Anyway, kudos.
